Bmac Design Website Update

I have recently redone my website, Bmac Design. It is a small portfolio of some of my graphic design work. So far, I have only posted some of my sports logos, but I may post some other stuff later on (uniforms and other work). I updated the site with some new logos, and I edited each page to look a little better. Check it out at http://bmacgraphicdesign.webs.com/. The link is always under the Links section on the right side bar of Bmac's Blog.

Also, Bmac Design got a new logo!

Arizona Cardinals Prototype Helmet

After being sick last week, I am finally back. I come back with another entry for the prototype project. Today's post is the Arizona Cardinals 1979 prototype helmet. There is not a whole lot of information about this helmet, other than it was considered in 1979 as a new helmet. The change never took place and today it is one of the most unique looking helmets around. I thank the Cardinals they didn't go with this, as it is just too weird looking for me. Who knows, this helmet could have been used and this might be a normal look today!

San Diego Padres Prototype Jersey

The first post of the Prototype Uniforms series is for the San Diego Padres. The jersey is from 1999, and is navy with white and sand accent colors. It features a new San Diego wordmark, which was eventually used on their road jerseys, still worn today. The jersey also has an iteresting alternate logo on the sleeve, a P with a palm tree inside. The only part of this jersey that was actually used is the wordmark, which was modified and first used in 2004.

Prototype Uniforms; A Mini Series

Over the years, I have gathered quite a bit of information and pictures about prototype sports uniforms and designs. I think it is fun to see what could have been for teams. Over the next few weeks I will share different prototype uniforms and designs, including pictures and the stories behind them.
