Vancouver Canucks
2011: New home and road uniforms for the Canucks. The design is similar to that of the 3rd jersey, and the classic stick-in-rink logo takes over. Seeing as the 3rd jersey basically becomes the home jersey, a new alternate jersey is also introduced. It is navy, featuring the full-body Johnny Canuck logo. A plaid design is featured on the end of the sleeves and hem, resembling the flannel shirt worn by the old Johnny Canuck.
2012: A green alternate jersey is unveiled. It uses the same design as the team's early sweaters, and an old VC logo that was never used is featured as the crest.
Love the Johnny Canuck look as a possible 3rd/4th jersey! Make me wonder why Vancouver has not already done this themselves.
ReplyDeleteWOW..! WOW..! WOW..!
ReplyDeletethese are perfect. the current jerseys dont fit the current logo we have
ReplyDeleteOne problem...what's the fish doing on the pants?...what kind of a fish is a Canuck?...A salmon? Get that fish out of here..!
ReplyDeleteLose the Orca; its a hangover from the previous, absentee owner, and has nothing to do with the (Johnny) Canuck tradition or the passion and sense of history that drives this Team.

ReplyDeleteI always loved the pure hockey simplicity of the original stick-in-a-rink logo. Established NHL teams that do not feel a need to constantly keep trying to re-invent their identity do not mess aroud with their logos. Time for the Canucks to man-up, start playing with the big boys and settle on a clean, traditional logo.
ReplyDeleteare these the official jerseys?
