I started making some football concepts recently, and it is time to share them here.
Pittsburgh Steelers
I love the Steelers' current throwback alternate, but the home and road jerseys are classic. The objective here is simply to combine the looks into an acceptable set. I also wanted to balance the colors more. The striping design is simple, combining the two eras. I went back to gold block numbers, and added a white stripe to the pants to keep the colors balanced. I kept the logo on the front of the jersey, and the helmet is still supposed to have the decal on just one side.
And a modern alternate:
I originally had yellow helmets, but people wanted black...
I just found your blog so I'm going to go comment crazy today. [=^) I really like the yellow helmets on the Steelers uni's, even keeping the logo on one side. I would take those two designs and make them the home and away uniforms and use the one with the gray helmet as an alternate third.
