After being sick last week, I am finally back. I come back with another entry for the prototype project. Today's post is the Arizona Cardinals 1979 prototype helmet. There is not a whole lot of information about this helmet, other than it was considered in 1979 as a new helmet. The change never took place and today it is one of the most unique looking helmets around. I thank the Cardinals they didn't go with this, as it is just too weird looking for me. Who knows, this helmet could have been used and this might be a normal look today!
I kinda like it although the Cardinals have one of the best helmets in the NFL.
ReplyDeleteI know one thing, this reminds me of an odd ancestor of San Diego State's spraypaint helmets from 02 and 03.
