I have been working on my "Fixing the NHL" project for a while now, and it is finally time to share some of my concepts here. First up, the Montreal Canadiens.
For the Canadiens, I wanted to keep things classic, keeping the 100 year heritage strong. The home jersey now features a tie up collar, a nod to the old days. The road uniform is new, based on the Habs road unis from the 1940's. The alternate is...a little out there. It is a barberpole jersey, the first to meet the new Reebok Edge system. It features a new logo, inspired by the old Canadiens and the old Montreal Maroons. Also, I created a new wordmark for the Habs.
