Wild About Design has been launched! Wild About Design is a blog dedicated to the logos and uniforms of the Minnesota Wild. I will share news, pictures, and concepts regarding the logos and uniforms of the Wild. I hope to get some fan concepts and possibly even a few featured designers. If you have a concept to send in, feel free!

Flyers and Penguins Jersey Concepts

Here are two alternate jersey concepts I made a while back, for the Flyers and Penguins. The Flyers' is 90's inspired, with the winged P logo wrapping almost all the way around the jersey. The socks even match! The Pens jersey is supposed to reflect an igloo theme, as penguins are often associated with igloos, and the NHL team's home arena is nicknamed the Igloo. The jersey features an igloo themed design on the sleeves and hem, as well as the use of the Penguins' old colors. The logo no longer has the triangle, just the penguin.

Bmac Design Officially Launched

Bmac Design is finally complete, at least enough to launch. The new site is basically my portfolio, where I will share much of my logo and uniform design work. I see this as the next big step in the world of graphic design. Bmac Design will be upadated regularly, with new work being added all the time.

Bmac's Hats Update

A quick update from Bmac's Hats. For those of you that have not visited Bmac's Hats recently, there have been a few changes. The format of which I share each hat has changed, and I have gone back and taken better pictures. I am replacing older posts with new ones, complete with a more thorough description and better pictures. Also, Bmac's Hats has a new logo! Check it out at http://bmacs-hats.blogspot.com/.

Hockey Night in Omaha

Yesterday, Hockey Night in Omaha was announced. On February 13th, the Omaha Lancers and the UNO Mavericks will play back-to-back home games in Omaha. The Lancers will play at their home rink, the Civic Auditorium, while the Mavs will play at their home, the Qwest Center. This should be a great event for hockey in Omaha.

Other Cool Sites to Check Out

As you may have noticed, there is a new feature on the right hand sidebar labeled "Other Cool Sites to Check Out". These are different sites or blogs similar to mine, all of which I often visit. I am a member at Chris Creamer's Sports Logo Community (CCSLC), and if you have an interest in sports logos and uniforms, I suggest you check it out. Sports Logo Spot and The Clubhouse are two cool concept blogs run by fellow logo designers and friends, and I highly recommend giving them a look as well. I may add other cool sites as I come across them. Also, if you have a blog/site of your own that you would like added as a link, feel free to comment here and I will most likely add it (feel free to add and of the Bmac sites as well).
